Message from Our PRESIDENT
Josephine George Francis
Founder and President
Farmers Union Network Liberia
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to our partners for their support which allowed Farmers Union Network Liberia to extend its work to the fifteen Counties of Liberia. We, of course, still recognize the importance of building a strong relationship with our Government in these challenging times to ensure Agriculture and food security remain the top of their priorities.
We must continue to push for solutions to the challenges of access to land and finance. As farmers, we play a critical role in air and water quality, nature and biodiversity, maintain our landscape, and addressing climate change. I will never take for granted the
Support from the Ministry of Agriculture with support from the World Bank and IFAD on mechanization and processing Equipment.
Looking to the year ahead, for more opportunity for farmers. We have the ambition and drive to produce more food, enhance our environment, increased the livelihood of our farmers and work towards our commitment to reach zero hunger by 2030. To do this
We need to ensure that we build a profitability and resilience into our farms .
